Wonderful collection
I too, enjoy the mix of old and new in my collection. I do regret having had a few watches' dials refinished, though, for most of them, it didn't result in any real diminishing of value, just learned to appreciate the patinas a little later.
Here's one that I will never touch, except for servicing the movement. I did have to replace the crystal.
Guess what time it was when the watch stopped years before I found it?

A warm welcome to the forum! Your watch seems to be all orignal and authentic including dial and crown! It is the original crown which was used on this reference 2318 in the beginning of the 40ies! Tell us some more about this watch please. Enjoy this nic...
