Even should there be texture (is this a 3548 or 3848?) The roughness of the texture seems inconsistent with the overall refinement of this ellipse. My 2 cents. Chk

Interesting textured dial, similar to the
5226 grainy one ! If genuine, there is lineage of 5226 from ellipse ! Hope that it is original and if so we look forward to you becoming the owner 👍
