This is also my thoughts. And didn't understand the fuss about the prices.
Patek's policy is fully reponsible and justified on that matter. When times are good, a company has to follow, when times are not, it will need the security it gathers during the good times.
If I don't feel it is for me, then I will look away and won't blame thebrand. This would be absurd.
BTW, Kari, if you can have news about the nautilus's 40th annniversary, do not hold yourself :p
