Because a watch is not which one is the most famous or iconic etc but which is the one that sings to our heart.
That's why, me too, I really try to discover novelties from others' experience to begin with but, not long after, I sit on my own and try to find what I would really like to see everyday on my wrist.
Sometimes the reference of the watches i look at evolves that way...
The Annual Calendar is a complicated feature and this reference brings everything Patek can provide: elegance, fitting classical outfit (and even casual ones), timelessness...
Your version looks beautiful Thomas and the 2nd picture is stunning!
As for the turnover, well, there are times in life when we evolve, hence our tastes do so as well...
I'm realizing that I don't like to have too many watches and I like focusing my pleasure and care on only 2 or maybe 3. Not more.
Thus, the importance of chosing well.
