I wish I had any money (or interest in watches!) to celebrate my college graduation (2001) or PhD (2004) with a Patek….thankfully, I made up for it a little before turning 30, and my Patek #1 celebrated the end of my first year in tenure track, in May 2008!😄
Exactly like in your case, my first Patek was an R gold Calatrava, and all my Pateks so far have been purchased new from ADs (all of whom went on to become great friends)!😁
Who knows, maybe also for you this will mark the beginning of a long and joyful journey into the most amazing and prestigious watch brand on this planet…for certain, your first approach to it, and the reasons behind it, have been a perfect start!😉🥂
