It is very true, I've rarely seen someone my age with a taste in horology (apple watch everywhere)... I only have like one actual friend who is a watchgeek. Thanks to that friend's huge collection, I was able to try on some valuable models like 1815 chrono and 5711 nautilus over dinner and beers. The friend definitely played a big role taking me into the world of horology. I hope to pass this passion towards others around me as well, my fund is limited so all I've been doing was gifting some of my friends with ETA/Sellita movement watches for their birthdays, one day wish bunch of watchgeek friends can meet up together and have a good time discussing watches face to face over some good food.
