for a "hot piece" also pay not one penny less than retail for a not so hot piece, right? So that dealers compete on knowledge and service, and not on price?

And about "guaranteed" profits and availability?
It's a double edged sword. AD's are required to buy a certain minimum quantity, of both the not so hot models and the "hot" models.
I'm not disagreeing with the sentiments being presented, on both sides, just pointing out that most of the positions are overly simplistic, and honestly, a little one sided and self serving.
The problem is? My efforts to try to present a more balanced overview are not appreciated by the AD channels, either.
