Amazing story!!
Speechless is the first reaction upon reading this. What an amazing journey and family. This is what Patek is all about prior to all the bundling of jewelry purchases and etc by ADs. We need to hear more of these classic pieces being allocated not based on FAME or SPEND at ADs. The roots of the Patek genesis is based on relationships and that alone should be the deciding factor on allocating references. Nowadays, it seems like anyone with $$$ can purchase even if they are “new” Patek collectors. This has driven away many “OG” collectors….

cbb's brother Khun Nick was sadly only in his early 60s :-( Since he is the eldest, he knew more about
his father's journey and was so generously in sharing his family's horological history with me on a video call even though he and I had not met previously.
Tragic.
