Case has a g shock feeling
Seems a bit of a shameless cash in to just reuse the nautilus dial and use the 5712 design. The green square dial we have seen photos may be real then, for a date only version. The shame is there are so many tonneau cases or gondolo inspiration could have been taken from and a chance to do something a bit new with a dial also. Not sure if this is an attempt at a Santos or Reverso style option for the brand but certainly not as aesthetically pleasing for me.

Why make another line if you had the gondolo. The pagoda is also a good benchmark. Patek is so rich in history. Lastly, is this a grab for Cartiers market? I do hope they made complications or movements for the line. Francis

It's a squared Nautilus, it does not look that bad either, but did they create a new movement (as I'd expect) or choose an existing one? If the latter, that's really a poor choice

I believe that is as customers sticking to the designs (originals)of the 70s makes it difficult for brands to do the necessary amount of innovation and experimentation that they might need to stay relevant. And I believe it will play out in a similar way ...

...this is one of the ugliest watches ever made. Like when the Aquanaut and Nautilus had a child - and I don't mean the design resemblance to any of the two but the genetical consequences when siblings have children together...
