Of the modern perpetual chronograph Pateks, which would it be? 5204: 5270: 5970: Of these three, the 5270 has gotten the least love among the public. Curious what collectors here think. ...

Only 5970. But since money is not infinite for me I’d go WG 5270 or even 3970 most bang for buck

I have tried on the 5270J and it wears perfectly on my wrist. I’m not sure about the 5204 and thinking it might be a little thick at 14.3mm….i would assume the 5970 will wear fine like the 5270. For my logical mind, I will probably get a 5270R/J/P any ver... 

Everything is softening a bit

Can’t go wrong here but 5270 is my ideal of a wristwatch.

though the three below the top two have their charms.

So 2499-3/4, 3970, 5004, 5204, 5270g-1, 5270p-14

As a grail, I’ll vote for the 5004 or 5204, due to the complication and balanced esthetics. Now if we are talking about PPC’s , my favorite will be the 3970P silver/white dial followed by the 5270G first generation closely followed by the second gen(chin)...

Brimming with Patek DNA. Prefer the Movement , case proportions and dial layout. Simples. Lume kills the 5204 for me. M. ...  

The hands of the 5204 just don’t do it for me

standard 3970 dial which I find to be a bit austere. I find the 5004 case to be a bit too thick for its size. Not as comfortable to wear as 5970 or 3970. 3rd - 5204 Love the complications. Would have to get used to the hands and lugs, which I am sure I wo...
