Hello everyone. Good day to all 8). Like to find out what's everyone picks and why? Patek 5146g in dial cream or black??? Can't decide? Thanks in advance. Kind regards, DD...  

Grey looks more elegant and sophisticated for me. I will pick the grey dial between these two.

Grey looks good in the photo. Suggest you go & put it on your wrist for comparison... Got a feeling that the cream dial may looks better in person. Good luck & Happy Pateking Best wishes, KK

IMO the black dial looks more stylish than the cream color one but based on my experience with a black dial watch, it is very difficult to read the time in darker places such as restaurants with dim lighting, bars, etc. good luck with your ultimate decisi... 

That is why I chose the cream coloured dial :) Though I would be sorely tempted with the grey dial on a Y/G 5146.

If somebody would put a pistol against my head and say: "five seconds time to decide", I would answer without hesitation: "darker". But both are nice. If somebody would ask me which is the nicest version of 5146, I would say "P". And it's very close to th... 

When buying a watch of this cost and calibre, you should not have uncertainty or indecision. This is how post-sales regret happens. Any of us who have purchased many watches in our lives have made a decision we regretted (and it usually started with not b... 

People who have regrets are those who don't really know what they like and have wavering tastes and act emotionally in the moment and not based on their true selves. I've never had regrets about the major accessories that I've purchased. And those who do,... 

I have second thoughts from time to time about not having bought the one with a grey dial but cream works for me... :) ...  

Is that the original strap? Looks a bit light? I've owned the 5146J for 3 years now; a stunningly beautiful watch; the dial in some light fall will even color a bit pinkish! ...

A cream dial gives the 5146 an even more classic look, while the grey dial is more contemporary to my opinion. It's just a matter of taste which one you prefer. Good luck with the better dilemmas in life. :-)

the 5146G slate dial wins, but in terms of classic & conservative look as mentioned by others then the cream dial all the way...though i'd pick a rose gold case for that one, just my opinion! Mine... ...

I was faced with the same dilemma recently and after looking at the pictures I was dead set on getting the grey dial. I found an AD who had both in stock and went in to try them out. The folks here have already commented on this - you have to try them out...  

While the white gold hands can be difficult to see against the grey dial (depending on the lighting), the lume in the hands is always visible against that background. I was concerned about the same sort of thing with my 5056P, but found that the lume fill... 

Not a personal attack on you, but my understanding is Patek Philippe watches are for strong-minded people who can make decisions of their own. I'm getting surprised that we're getting more and more of these posts. I'd do some soul searching and really lea... 

The cream dial looks pretty nice on other PP AC watches, but for the 5146, I like the gray dial.
