Look at how the brown of the instrument matches well with the different shades of green in the shirt, building and leaves !

I love how thought has gone into integrating the case with the artwork (I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but I’d like to think it is). The artwork depicts a couple of old time astronomers sitting on what is is likely the moon; one is gazing back at earth...

…to me I’ve rarely seen anything with a more contemporary feel. There are some exceptions, but buyers of these pieces are generally of a certain taste and knowing this Patek obviously cater to the known knowns. I do wonder if they’d step out of that safet...
Some pieces with very modern or contemporary dials have been made (surfers, etc.).
