I like them for the craft, but…
…to me I’ve rarely seen anything with a more contemporary feel.
There are some exceptions, but buyers of these pieces are generally of a certain taste and knowing this Patek obviously cater to the known knowns.
I do wonder if they’d step out of that safety zone a bit whether or not another buyer market would exist. Not something Thierry will do I think.

I love how thought has gone into integrating the case with the artwork (I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but I’d like to think it is). The artwork depicts a couple of old time astronomers sitting on what is is likely the moon; one is gazing back at earth...

Some pieces with very modern or contemporary dials have been made (surfers, etc.).
And I'm not always fond of them, contrarily to this one, which I find appealing. Best, Emmanuel

Look at how the brown of the instrument matches well with the different shades of green in the shirt, building and leaves ! A spectacular enamel dial IMO but I am BIASED !🤣
