I'm one of those people who are confused by the 3710!
But I have to admit, as confusing and confounding the 3710 can be, it is undeniably a very handsome and under appreciated Nautilus! I really like your 3800 - with the matching color date disc. I'm so glad you made a point to educate yourself about this watch before plunging both feet in!
Thanks for your thoughts.

An interesting question

A lot of Patek Philippe designs are not that great. The Patek Philippe 6007 for instance. Nice watch. But, if it didn't say Patek Philippe on it, would people really give it a lot of thought? Would it sell in the quantities it currently enjoys? Doubtful. ...

I found the 5712 nautilus to be unattractive at first.. the case is really retro.. and the dial to be rather weird looking - all the indications were unusually placed That’s until I had the chance to try it on my wrist one day.. I was like wowww.. this is...
