I have an appointment with my AD tomorrow. He sent in a watch for me for warranty repair before the lock down and now that the AD has opened ( by appointment) I’ll ask him what he knows.

You never had a chance of getting the 5270g serviced in 5mo. The last 5270 I had serviced took almost a year. I would, additionally, not be surprised if due to the COVID-19 pandemic your watch ended up back in Switzerland if it hasnt already.
