I inquired as to service times for my 5270G and received this email I wanted to share with my friends on here. They said prior to the COVID crisis, service times were at 21 weeks, slightly over 5 months. Here is the email: “Before we closed for the Covid-... 

I have an appointment with my AD tomorrow. He sent in a watch for me for warranty repair before the lock down and now that the AD has opened ( by appointment) I’ll ask him what he knows. Kent

Breitling had essential employees in on rotation. Many departments had no one in. I would say it will take a while.

In the US, Breitling is scheduled to resume service on May 15. He spoke to his contact yesterday and the information is from her. My watch was in for a couple of weeks before they closed and should be done in a couple of weeks after they reopen. They were...

but it is entirely beyond their control. As someone said, it makes a good case to own more than one watch.

You never had a chance of getting the 5270g serviced in 5mo. The last 5270 I had serviced took almost a year. I would, additionally, not be surprised if due to the COVID-19 pandemic your watch ended up back in Switzerland if it hasnt already.
