I'm all for dressing this type of watch down with a good strap choice. What amazes me is that 15+ years after Paneristi made a small section of the Panerai world strap crazy, and many years after Panerai jumped on that wave itself to offer all kinds of everything in terms of strap choices much of the rest of the watch world still hasn't got it.
It's a really simple thing. I recently had a chat with someone relatively senior at ALS about this and they had stated while they were supportive of offering real choices in terms of strap material and colours at point of purchase to the customer senior management at HQ didn't see it as all that relevant.
Anyways, great choice for what is a suberb watch.

Vacheron Constantin has the Overseas World Time, so why not Patek Philippe?
I think a Patek WT watch in steel would be awesome!
But I think the squarish case of the Nautilus does not work well with the WT globe and the circular cities printing.

As far as your suggestions on green stitch or green strap with honey stitch it makes some sense. However in my mind i am inclined to believe that takes it to the “trying too hard” level.... But who knows, maybe my next step will be “trying too hard”.... ...

Thought about a blue strap for mine but perhaps I will try one out if I tire of this one! Perhaps a blue calf.... Personally I believe the 5131J becomes much more attractive in most straps out her than the supplied dark brown crocodile....
