1. New perpetual calendar looks off, the font is not a font that Patek uses in other Nautilus watches. Compare the font of the date subdial to the date subdial of the 5712. Completely different. 2. The case at 9 o'clock has a noticeable pusher ruining the... 

Personally I would have like to see the perpetual Nautilus be simply a 5726 with a perpetual module... I understand it would not be as thin but the waffle dial would be more in harmony I am thinking... world time Nautilus would be a little odd but hey who... 

Maybe with green stitching, it could draw out and complement the enamel map. Or how about, a green leather strap with yellow stitching? I do agree with your statement about the general change across most cultures to a casual lifestyle one. Am counting dow... 

As far as your suggestions on green stitch or green strap with honey stitch it makes some sense. However in my mind i am inclined to believe that takes it to the “trying too hard” level.... But who knows, maybe my next step will be “trying too hard”.... ...

Thought about a blue strap for mine but perhaps I will try one out if I tire of this one! Perhaps a blue calf.... Personally I believe the 5131J becomes much more attractive in most straps out her than the supplied dark brown crocodile....

than the brown strap supplied with the watch by Patek. Nothing wrong with the brown strap especially for someone regularly wearing a suit and tie, but for me there are much more appealing possibilities. Best, patekova

I'm all for dressing this type of watch down with a good strap choice. What amazes me is that 15+ years after Paneristi made a small section of the Panerai world strap crazy, and many years after Panerai jumped on that wave itself to offer all kinds of ev... 

I agree, missed opportunity for Patek and ALS.... but perhaps one day.... until then we have to go our own way to make things happen! I know you like to dress your timepieces up in various straps and you do it real well! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
