but hunters never stop hunting! How many times have we told ourselves that this is the last one?
I do enjoy variety and derive pleasure from even the most basic pieces as long as it appeals to me in some form or other.This way I get to feed the habit without burning a deep hole in the pocket!.
Then there are those pieces that are perennially on my wishlist and like the 5970G requires patience, luck and timing.These are for me the serious collection pieces and will be keepers. I would be content if I am able to acquire one of these per year.As you said, right now,I'm just sitting back,taking a breather and enjoying the catch!

It's a shorty!
The regular one doesn't fit me well especially on deployant (wrist challenged,like you). With this, it is so much more comfortable and the deployant is centred on the wrist. If you are still on standard issue, I suggest you switch to the short strap.Diffe...

I have my straps custom made by Camille, whom also make straps for Patek. I have them made for me at 75/105 mm with 3mm padding instead of the Patek 4mm , and I also made it double croc like the Dufour's straps (which are made by Camille too) Besides this...

For my relatively small wrist(6.5"),it sits and feels perfectly and I'm not just saying that.Other Pateks that I have tried such as the 5070 or 5102 are somewhat on the big side for me and others ie. 5159,5040etc. didn't somehow fill out sufficiently on t...
