Patek Philippe

Hi all Wanted to share this photo to demonstrate the diversity of colours of some models in the Patek spectrum - from white, to grey, to blue, to black/brown, and to black. Out of these colours it seems the hardest to show the white really well with so ma...  

Variety and not just the usual bandwagon that hunts every sports watch from them!

I am trying to diversify a bit - and find that Patek does offer an option for every mood...and while it is tempting to get another Nauti or Aquanaut I just don’t find the need and would rather go for a different model altogether. Cheers Peter

At this point using the IPhone can still take some pretty good pictures but certainly not as nice as a normal DSLR. Cheers Peter

I think Patek has done a great job expanding their sport models. I was an AP collector before but I think Patek really has stepped up and put forth some very elegant but sporty pieces. That being said - Patek does dressy even better and I feel fortunate t...

I do feel like I have a pretty stable set of 5 today. I get a sense I am missing a classic Chrono, a PCC, and of course a Calatrava. One step at a time! The Nautilus has been a real favorite especially because of the exquisite construction of the case and...

I love that 5980 and before I purchased the 5712 from a window display I passed on a 5980 in the display case! Boy those were the days... The Nautilus is an excellent sporty collection and I think in many cases, is unsurpassed in its own diversity without... 

...It makes me want to get one.

1) a grand complication (a PCC, as you say, would be hard to beat); or 2) a rare handcraft (e.g., 5089 or 5177). You'd certainly qualify to apply for it, and that would also give you the Calatrava "for free"!

Good minds think alike. I think to balance the collection in metals and also in model perhaps a 5170P or a 3970P. I will wait for the next budget cycle Cheers, Peter

And really like your Advanced Research perpetual. On the dial especially - something about leaf hands and gold indices make that special. Also the fact that it is an AR of course makes it wonderful. Cheers Peter

You also have representatives of the iconic Nautilus and Aquanaut lines. You have steel, white gold and platinum. You have pretty much all the complications below the perpetual chronograph level. And all of this in just 5 watches! Perhaps some day a perpe... 

A real grail watch for me would be the 3970 - there is something really special about those push button pushers! While I previously looked at and considered multiple 5270 models, I still slightly prefer the lemania movement and the original dials. Maybe o...
