Patek offers pin buckles for the most classic references (I don't want to use the word "entry level" which I don't think is a right word for a watch in this price and quality segment.) such as 5127, 5296, 5124, 5098, etc. One of very few exception is the 6000 which has a deployment buckle.
Most medium and high priced models are with deployment buckles such as all annual calendars, perpetuals, worldtimers, chronographs, perpetual chronos, etc.
All square watches are with pin buckle (maybe better for the wear comfort) such as 5100, 5101, 5105, etc.
The most highly priced pieces are with pin buckles, in most cases, the officier pin buckles, such as 5078, 3939, 5959, etc.
In general, more people feel pin buckles are more comfortable while deployment ones offer a higher degree of safety.
