I like this case shape anyway (3448, 5235 etc.), it’s pure class. The dial is very beautiful and legible. The only downside for me is the case diameter; would have preferred between 39 and 40 mm. Best, V.

I find window display better than dial..especially date...even I can remember the month so use the date more frequently...the movement also looks nicely finished

But I did look at more pictures, it reminds me of cyclopes! I wonder what it would look like with a little bit of spacing

5236P is stunning ... but out of my reach. The clou de Paris on the 6119 is growing on me by the minute.

Maybe 🤔 the 4947/1A is an attempt to get focus away from steel Nautilus watches???

Apart from the same material 4947/1A is not really a sport watch, although steel+bracelet makes it a lot more versatile.

The combination of the case with the colors on the dial is sublime. The case size is modern without being too oversized. I am already in touch with my AD. I also like the 6119R in the classic Calatrava case and it has a very good power reserve (but it is ... 

The VC 38mm is the model which seems to be more similar to the 6119. There is a nice write up on the VC on H.com which compares it to the FPJ CB and the Lange which gives a decent look at the case. Also the 38mm is 7.77mm thick with a similar PR, railroad... 

Traditionelle - very similar to 6119, and not necessarily a disc like case IMHO. Patrimony - more disc like as you mentioned...but not similar to the 6119 ...  

Though the subdial is different. Still, I think it takes elements from the VC and gloms a hobnail bezel onto it. Not particularly harmonious, I feel.

Huge fan of the VC 82172 here, whose hands (and bezel) I vastly prefer. The Calatrava case and the movement are quite beautiful, though. Cheers Marc

I can`t welcome them with my sincere hospitality quickly. But probably I would gradually tend to accept them.

Finally, a new Calatrava without that darned dare window. I’m not sure if the 6119 works for me completely yet: clous de Paris railroad track with little dots outside the main indexes sorta-Dauphine hands...might be one element too many; what if the railr... 

However, the 5326P is a stunning watch and I am sure it will be a successful model.

I view both the 5236P and the 6119R/G as long overdue. These releases are all about next generation movements and they are stunning! I will be enthusiastic to see the 5236P’s new perpetual calendar movement and the new 6119’s manual wind trickle down to o...

Thank you! Thanks for updating the pics as well. Definitely looking forward to seeing these references in person. The 5236P may be slightly large with case diameter of 41.3mm...will need to see on wrist the taper of the lugs.

On first glance - the 6119 looks very much like the 2013 Vacheron Constantin Traditionelle Small Seconds, but adds a nice hobnail bezel. I have been eyeing some of these in the past in a grey variant, so to see it similarly configured in PP is interesting...

I think the VC is more original in design. The VC has the Geneva seal. Subdial is nice. And the dial furniture is not overdone. It looks like the 6119 tried to combine the the VC with some of the older saxonia dial. The ~50% premium for the Patek very ric...

The handset on the 6119 is less attractive IMO. I like the dauphine style (I think that is it) on the VC and think that's a better fit with the rest of the dial furniture. Otherwise I think the 6119 is a slam dunk. The hobnailing probably looks great in p...

I wonder if they tried sapphire disks or frames to produce a more unified linear triple date. I would assume they tried everything, but the outcome isn't totally satisfying.

Must - as always - see them in the metal. The 6119 seems to be struggling - not knowing what it want's to be. The bezel and the hour-markers gives it (in the pictures at least) a very robust and "masculine" attitude - but at the same time it tries to be e...

Love the 6191R!!! From the back, too ♥️ Great Perpetual Calendar, but 39/40 mm would be enough for me...It has to be on the wrist before a final judgement...great anyway! Good year for PP...maybe sth more to come? Best Tempus

Not quite so sure about the dial side. Would prefer it not to have a hobnail bezel. To me, at least, that feature adds a degree of dressiness/fustiness at odds with the athletic straightforwardness of the rest of the watch. Luckily, Patek will use the sam...

That's my verdict on the 5236P and the 6119G and R. Yes they have beautiful movements but the perpetual calendar should be no more than 39mm rather than 41.3mm. As for the 6119, it is refreshing to see a movement other than a 215 or 240 or 324 being used ...

The 6119R is listed as 'Yellow Gold.' When I saw the photo in this thread I thought, 'wow, I hope it's available in Yellow gold. Went to the site and it said 'Yellow gold.' But it's got an 'R' after it and the next page lists it as Rose gold. Aestheticall...
