Request a refund from the AD based on the assessed value of the trade ins. Or get it fixed at Patek Philippe. Nothing else can be done.
But if you buy a used watch, these things happen. Frankly, it can even happen on a brand new watch, as I've seen it happen on a brand new 5396 annual calendar. Or trade the watch for another watch the dealer has.
This is the risk you always take when you buy something used.
