I put a lot of thought into shaping my collection….i try my best to begin with end in mind.
Along the way there may be new releases that alter the path, the final destination is not different by much. There are other things to enjoy in life so I set priorities for those too.
Unless there’s major change financially, this is it. Your 5970 London edition and other rare variants are lovely and true treasures but I can’t justify to my wife 😅

I feel a bit flimsy and not too attracted to it…later on, as you know, getting one at retail becomes “impossible”, but I’m open to a 5711/1R or new 5811, if I can get one from AD. My collection theme is about families, hence the spectrum.

My pick was the 5270G-001 as I like the clean dial without tachymeter scale. But hey, this is the good thing. There are many 5270 variants out there for all the different preferences

I felt something missing and the “metallic” look brush dial didn’t speak to me but like you said, there is something for everyone 👍🏻 It is good to have options.
