I feel like this one is undervalued as well in the world of Patek PCC

I feel a bit flimsy and not too attracted to it…later on, as you know, getting one at retail becomes “impossible”, but I’m open to a 5711/1R or new 5811, if I can get one from AD. My collection theme is about families, hence the spectrum.

First question is, why need to take it down? If it’s bad financial reasons, I think everything will go, correct? At that point, who cares about these watches? 😅 My collection theme makes it difficult for me to consolidate but if some must go, it might be ... 

I have been eying exactly the same pcc for some time now. This dial would be my choice as well as I a m a sucker for white dials (or the salmon from two years ago). Only thing that keeps me from getting one is the pc - I am already too lazy to get the moo... 

I know many colllectirs don’t even set the date, haha…I do enjoy the ritual to set my watches, connecting with them. The short production run of this variant, to me, makes sense and I know taste might change in future but I live in this moment, now…and ye...

The answer is in you and me, not the watch or watch to be had. We all have that super excited and happy feeling when we obtain a “new” watch but as time goes by, it will subside. The way I collect is to fill voids, once I filled the void in a collection, ...

When I saw all of a sudden, “collectors” were popping up left and right, lol…. I am not a true Patek fan as I collect compliment or “opponent” brands 😬. I collect Lange, Rolex and Omega.

My pick was the 5270G-001 as I like the clean dial without tachymeter scale. But hey, this is the good thing. There are many 5270 variants out there for all the different preferences

I felt something missing and the “metallic” look brush dial didn’t speak to me but like you said, there is something for everyone 👍🏻 It is good to have options.

Congratulations on this milestone. I agree the PCC is the way to go as the big daddy watch. Love this ref. As much as I'm not as into patek as some since I find their finishing and power reserves need a just up in some areas.... this is to me the epitome ... 

I agree with your observations on their low power reserves on their 324/240 but this 5270 has 55-65hr which is much nicer. I don’t prefer some Langes that are too thick and 36hr power only. When I compared this with the Langematik PC, I knew right there o...

It is not easy to buy anything unseen and any watches that are pre-own. I used to buy only brand new watches previously because I only trust myself in taking great care of mine. PS: The answer is “No” in this case but my collection has changed with time. ...

from 1518 thru 5270. Your 5270 is a pretty rare and very attractive variation and I would not be in the least bit surprised if with time the chin variation becomes even more highly coveted for that feature plus the overall aesthetics of the silver hued ta... 

And yet it hasn’t happen, which I don’t really care because it works to my advantage and benefit. I just cannot unsee the value just from the watch alone, not it’s potential for future. Yes I do put a lot of thoughts in having as much spectrum and variant...
