Well, mixed feelings

No real new watches, here, but more an evolution of already exisiting watches. The " new " ten days is, to me, less appealing than the legendary 5100 with its special horns on each side of the case. The " new " WT in white metal is really nice, with a sup...

IMHO, the dullest offerings in years... the 5970P is the star, but I'm not moved by it... I think the 5970G will be the eternal favorite. I've never really loved black dial dress watches... the hard contrast of the white windows and white print.... not fo...

The new calatrava does look appealing, with a great new style for the 5960. But I have to agree that all these new models are simply variants of previous classics. A very insightful report Jerome nonetheless. Many thanks as always!
Which is the real 5101

I notice 3 pictures of the dial-side of the new 5101R, 2 have a serial number in the sub-second dial, one doesn't. I'm assuming the one without is a rendering, and they didn't bother rendering a bogus SN, or is it the other way around? A

as noted by the others, it does seem that RG is the color of the moment. I wonder if this has to do with having the same complication in a lower price point to accommodate the economic slowdown as the sole reason for such a move? Or is Patek once again at...

for the post. Agree with Nicolas, for the most part, nothing new, just revamped. Don't care for the 5960R. Seems as if PP was unsure on how much lighter to make the dial. Love the dark gray on platinum. Perhaps this one should've had a cream dial that wou...
Thank you Jerome....

for sharing the info My overall feeling of the collection is a bit of a disappointment. The one I like is 5101R. 5970P is very predictable and , honestly, not that nice but ,obviously more rare. But , selfishly, I know I'm happy I won't need to swap my 59...
Interesting comments

Hi, Congratulations on getting a 5970P! You're possibly the first in that case! Any idea about when it could arrive? I know PP is generally fast to begin deliveries after the show. Your comments about the PP market are interesting. I have no clue if Asia ...

Great pics and report. the 5960R is my favorite. And the grail is the 5101R. I saw the 5101P months ago but it didn't speak to me. The dial was not my cup of tea. But the 5101 really is gorgeous
nice watches,but...

It seems like patek philippe is just doing some tweaking to their current inventory. There seems to be no breakthrough design in this year's collection. Furthermore, it seems like ther'e cutting costs IMHO. Why would i say something like that? well, Calar...
Let me try to answer!

Hi, I understand that the new offerings can let you thirsty, but they're not bad at all! By the way, please let me try to answer: Calatrava: I hope you've realized the 5159 calibre (5.25mm) is thicker than the 5153 calibre (3,3mm), so the case can't be th...
