Patek Philippe

Hello All, I thought I would write about this because I wanted to know if I was the only one with these problems with this watch..... I own a 5270G bought brand new from an AD. To make a long story short, the watch is now four years old. Within the first ... 

I have had my 5270G (the blue chin) for over 3 years now. Fortunately, I have not encountered any such problems. I don't really have an answer or a solution, but I feel your pain.

I had the 5970 and had nothing but problems with it being hard to wind and stopping. Went to PP several times. I have the 5270 and it, knock on wood, has been perfect. Perhaps yours was one of the first models and they had some glitches to be expected wit... 

Thanks to everyone for all your responses. This watch was one of the first ones available from the dealer all the way back in 2012. So perhaps there have been some glitches which have been ironed out over the last 4 years. Hopefully after the next service... 

I sometimes see bulletins from manufacturers for specific parts to be swapped out with newer (read: better-functioning) versions. I hope the new service gives you many years of problem-free usage.

I have had my 5270 R for one year and it has operated without any problems!

Yes the rose gold came a bit later than the original white gold model.....perhaps they did make some improvements to their new in house movement. I am liking more and more the "simpler" models because they also don\'t need to send away for service! Vintag... 

My 5270G is the third generation. I do not have the problem like yours, but mine is about the leap year indicator. As I adjust the montha to change the year correspondent, the number of year wont change after 1 cycle form Jan to Jan, but rather change slo... 

My watch seems to turn each year without problems. I\'m sorry to hear that your watch has that issue. I would recommend getting it looked at by Patek Philippe as your watch is new and is still covered by warranty. Perhaps my watch is a rare one with some ...
