The 5960 is an important reference:
first chronograph linked to an annual (instead of perpetual) calendar and first ever in house self winding chronograph movement for Patek: calibre CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H.
And this ref. 5960/1A-010 is quite special among the 5960s, with its steel case and bracelet and black dial.

A favorite Patek from yesteryear right there. Such bold and sporty colors! Very much to my liking.
I'm with you on power reserve displays. I find them useful, even on automatic winding watches.

These RG ones are made in quite limited quantities than the Pt version.
I actually prefer this combination too. Many recent releases are RG + Black.

Perhaps some people feel that the bracelet is very eye catching and for their sense of aesthetics draws attention away from the dial. They might prefer an oyster style bracelet.
