to be honest....
....i am also surprised. When I first decided to buy it, I knew it was a special watch but I didn't think it was Top 5 material. What has surprised me is how I have reacted to it on my wrist.
Of course, I still haven't had the 5131P on my wrist so the verdict is still out on that one.....but i have had the 5131R and G on my wrist, and whilst the P is special, I am not sure it will eclipse the 5650. I think the movement is a game-changer for Patek.....and every time I look at it...exposed as it is....i become hypnotised.
OK....i may be in an extended honeymoon phase....but I don't think so.

Quite interesting to see that you placed the 5650G that high up
and after 3 weeks, you cannot blame the "new factor" anymore, so there is something very special in this watch that makes you fall for it, despite all the other choices you have. CC
