Your order is a little bit surprising though. 1st place easily agreed. But then you loose me. I would rank 5131P and 5370P higher than 5650G, at least on the paper. Let's wait and see what your feelings are once you have 5131P on your wrist. This will be ... 

.....its a personal issue.....each of us will have a different ranking of our top dogs. It would be strange if we all had the same....so i can easily see why many would prefer the 5370P as the top dog......or the 5131P....... but for me, there is somethin... 

And I'm not saying that 5650G shouldn't be in that spot. It's a super watch I would love to own, no doubt. I was just a little bit surprised by your order (and still are 😳).

.....this is my Top 5 for Patek. Overall Top 5 would include vintage Rolex.....and am afraid that the Datograph would not make Top 10 overall. Its a lovely watch...iconic....beautiful movement, but it doesn't scale the heights of the Top 5 from Patek....a...

If you need someone to wear the Dato for you for a while I could be persuaded taking this burden off your shoulders... Joking aside; Very nice pics of the 5650! Your posts are starting to change my mind a little about Aquanaut series in general...

.....first......I have to give the Dato the benefit of the doubt. Its been pooled againt a watch that virtually all of mine would suffer in comparison. So, i do see that i need to allow some proper wrist time and genuinely look at the Datograph in its own... 

We discussed quickly about it back then and I expressed how it pleased me, on every levels. This is a true bargain for what it offers and I know this would have been my everyday wearer if I could have gotten one. I'm glad when such watches go to owners wh...

For you to place it above the 5370P says it all. I actually tried Kamal Rostov's 5164A a few nights ago and was surprised how well it fitted on my wrist. I had tried the same model years ago and it was too large (and my wrist has definitely not grown! ) I...

Almost a common watch on this forum! Its quite funny how this forum can so often create an illusion of "common". In the wild, I rarely ever see a standard Nautilus....maybe once or twice ever. Yet, on this forum, its like everyone and their dog owns one!

5650 ! Although you would adore the enamel dial and love the heft of the 5131P, you would still prefer the Terminator because of its innovative technologies. Shall we have another bet on my prediction ?

new aquanaut with the blue dial ! The big issue I have with this reference is that it only comes in white gold instead of steel which IMO is more suitable for a sporty watch.

Just landed this morning from Singapore wearing my 5650G. A great travel watch, a great watch with business clothing and it also felt well in the pool. Tomorrow at 04:30 taxi will take me to the airport and I'll fly to London. For sure I will wear 5650G. ...
