Also i saw someone posted the 5035, the first ever annual calendar, which looks great. I'm posting its replacement, the 5146, also in J, which i think is a great expression of the model (the G is outstanding as well). All those 4 PPs are in the "reasonably" priced category

Yes, R is easy to love.
But J is elusive. I can't think of any model range where Patek enthusiasts nearly universally regard the J as the best choice of the range.

Yes, the 5070 looks great in J - as it does in any metal. The 5110 however, is an obtainable and interesting choice that does look very appealing in yellow.

It’s a beauty but 5131/1P is a different level.
I never thought that I would say this since, as you know, I got 5231J before 5131/1P and I was deeply in love with 5231J (and I still am). But 5131/1P is such a stunning overall package (except for the clasp 😂).
