Like the 5070, the 5970 has an aesthetic and balance to my eye that is perfect. Balance makes a big difference to me on this......I once owned a 5970P and sold it......I would love to get it back. On equivalent pricing, i would take the 5970 over the 5270....but its a personal thing for sure.

I remember when I saw the Lange 1, black dial which had luminous hands (don't remember the name), I didn't like this detail at the time. Maybe it is because I saw normal hands Lange1 before that, as, here, this is the first 5370P version we see

They are really completly different
However, I think the 5070's case is good but what makes it so appealing is the combo with the dial: it is the oeverall look. The 5370P too of course but if you take only the case, I think the 5370P's is more interesting and unique. You'll tell us!

when it was first issued....
....i bought one as new from PP. I also had the 5070P. Between the two watches, my 5970P never got wrist-time...the 5070P always claimed my wrist-time. But it was a mistake to sell it...i regret it.
