When I was younger...
...and introduced to "proper" beer, it was explained to me that a good measure of quality was whether or not it could be consumed at cellar temperature vs. ice cold. That quality would show through no matter what.
I think the timelessness and class of this watch display this perfectly to my eye. Again, just me, but you could put it on almost anything and it would still be perfect.

LOL! I watched that Patek mini-movie about that Father giving his son an engraved Calatrava. Apparently he gave it to his son too young or too immature... because the son sold it like a total jerk! Best, Robert
