Great write-up MTF
One question I have for you and everyone else here though. How important of a criteria is it to watch aficionados of having the "thinnest" minute repeater or the thinnest automatic movement, or thinnest XXX ?
Having thin watches affects the look and size of the watch, which is a physical criteria. Some like thin watches and some don't.
How much of an emphasis does this "thinnest" feat have on purchasing decision?
I've always wanted to ask this question to my fellow PuristS to get some discussion going. Maybe this would be a nice separate topic to have in HoMe forum.

I am positively impressed by the level of finish of the movement.

Piaget Minute Repeater is ultra thin but thick on the
credit card bill ! ;) I like the plain white gold version with no diamonds but I have to make a choice.....car or watch.....car or watch. Regards, MTF
