I believe that PC certifies with the besancon astronomical observatory, as did that Tag Heuer special edition.
Hence the viper insignia.

Yeah, not sure I've ever seen anything else with Bulletin Observatoire certification.
Anybody know a current producer that gets this chronometer certification in lieu of/on top of COSC?

I was hoping to buy one a couple of years ago. It was in white gold. Turned out to be the wrong hands and polished. Love this model. Are you familiar with the Illinois model called the Jolly Roger? It's from the twenties and this bears a resemblance to it...
