Dear Joe: your posts about your blue/black bezel GMT inspired me...
... to put in use again this little used watch. It has been seating in its box, inside a safe, for more than a year.
Now It has been on my wrist since last Saturday and intend to keep it there.
I would suggest you to try it too during a visit to your favorite AD.
As a lover of Submariners you are, I feel it is worth the experience. May be you also will fall in love as with your GMT.
The ceramic Sub shares with the GMT the same fabulous finish, polish and new stainless steel, as well as inside improvements on its movement. It is a great watch indeed.
Of course, like it happens with GMT and other Rolex models, new versions and vintage models play in different leagues.
But if you love the new GMT, it is very probable you´ll also love the new Sub if not the green version, the more traditional black one.

I, too, really like this one very much... The black one I feel in a way too similar to the vintage one... And this one with green ceramic bezel and green dial makes it much more interesting and unique to it's own... The green color is much nicer in metal ...
