... agree with them. I feel that Rolex needed the "aggiornamiento" of this model, and I´m glad it made a good thing in not making the watch bigger, but making it "look" bigger by making lugs thickers, as well as thickening the crown guards.
Overall the watch looks and feels bigger.
Now regarding the blue lumen... well, if you consider this C Sub as a new step in the long distinguished career of the Submariner, we have to accept these changes.
Blue color is cold and lacks charm, as well as it lacks charm the luminova during the day. Just a thing we need to accept too, if we buy it and if we wish to fell in love with it.
Regarding getting patina from modern luminova is something we learned to accept since long ago, when Tritum was abandoned, except for a few excepctions in certain series of early watches, both Submariners, GMT and Explorer II, in which by some reason I don´t know how to explain, indexes turned a beautiful yellowish hue.
I got an 5513 and a 16750 from the 1980´s with such a patina, which are charming indeed for a "modern times" Rolex sport watch.
Thank you again, and I send you my best cordial regards, Abel.
