Dropped by the Rolex AD..

I haven’t been to one in a year. I didn’t realize that this particular AD was not selling to walk-in clients anymore. There were no display cases for readily available items. Everything was just for exhibition. I guess it has turned into a place where you look, write your name on a sketchy looking piece of paper and say thank you on your way out while said piece of paper disappears into the void that is the corporate approved waste basket

Having said that, the lady did recognize me because I got my SD43 from her and she was quite pleasant to begin with so all was well.

But on to the 124060. I was surprised that I liked it even at 41mm with a 21mm lug width. I guess I have come to terms with the ceramic bezel. It is what it is..


Together with my SD43.. I think it might be a good pairing


I enjoyed the visit even if there was nothing there. Quite meditative as I was all alone and the place felt more like a chapel than a boutique with submariners and datejusts on pedestals rather than your usual religious figures
