I have ideas to prevent behavior that is not truly long-term passion for a special project watch. I remember the Vacheron Hodinkee chronograph made 1 year ago that was ludicrously flipped by 4 buyers after about 3 months; that was out of like 35 total watches so Hodinkeeâs friends who bought the watches were definitely not passionate about it.
(1) Tudor can enforce manufacturerâs warranty for only the original named purchaser
(2) If PuristSPro management sponsors the watch project, then PuristSPro management has first right to re-purchase the watch from the original buyer at predetermined price (like 75% or 50% of original cost) during first year.
I have no problems if someone wants to sell a watch after 1-2 years. Tastes change or a personal problem requires raising funds.
