well I think Tudor’s revitalization started about 6-7? years ago
It has not been long that Tudor came back to the world with very good modern watches. So I think all these “special edition” watches with retailers & enthusiast communities have been part of their strategy to build their business. I am sure it will become less common as their modern business matures. Strike while the iron is hot!!!

I don’t know vintage Tudor subs 792x that well. You other PuristS definitely know more than me. I think the 15-minute markings on the bezel has been standard with Tudor vintage for a long time though, so it makes sense the way it is with the Black Bay 58 ...

I suggested the Mercedes hour hand and lollipop second hand too! The standard "pencil" hands will work with the lollipop second hand. But the snowflake hour hand won't work with the lollipop second hand.

there was Harrod’s green bezel one. Bucherer had the blue bezel bronze case. I am really surprised that there was no special version in North America with any of the big Tudor ADs here. perhaps there was and it was not publicized.

which I don't think Tudor will go for: Change the circular hour markers into square hour markers for a full Snowflake dial and hands.
I think the square markers are reserved for the Pelagos
The Black Bay line is honoring the Tudor Submariners from the 1950’s which I think all used the circle markers.
