I don’t know vintage Tudor subs 792x that well. You other PuristS definitely know more than me. I think the 15-minute markings on the bezel has been standard with Tudor vintage for a long time though, so it makes sense the way it is with the Black Bay 58 ...

But why change this hand lay out? IMO it should be left the way it is.

I think the circular hour markers are taken from the 1950's Tudor submariners which were using parts from Rolex and those also used the Rolex Mercedes hour hand/lollipop seconds hands for the most part. There was an exception with pencil hands. The snowfl... 

And just like you said the snowflakes will be the big brand identifier clearly separating it from Rolex.

I suggested the Mercedes hour hand and lollipop second hand too! The standard "pencil" hands will work with the lollipop second hand. But the snowflake hour hand won't work with the lollipop second hand.

I liked it. I’m not Italian though and Tudor has no great legacy in Italy so the wording in Italian is a novelty.

But we need to do something different! And I'm dying for the lollipop second hand, which looks better with a hand that isn't the snowflake hour hand.

It has not been long that Tudor came back to the world with very good modern watches. So I think all these “special edition” watches with retailers & enthusiast communities have been part of their strategy to build their business. I am sure it will become...

there was Harrod’s green bezel one. Bucherer had the blue bezel bronze case. I am really surprised that there was no special version in North America with any of the big Tudor ADs here. perhaps there was and it was not publicized.

Shouldn’t create too many of them. Doesn’t make any sense. But in this instance if they really make one.....I’m in !!

Love the extra red on the dial, I think it looks much better than the original. I really like the original, but I'm not sure if I would buy it, let's wait to se how it feels on my wrist. I guess if it could be made Á la carte, we could end up with a very ... 

i would not be surprised if they allowed more customization in 4-5 years. it would fit with the type of offerings that Tudor has made for the last few years already: variety on bezel & strap/bracelet. the next step is to allow buyers the ability to tweak ... 

Great idea. Hope that Tudor wants to play ball. Can we have it on a bracelet and NATO band that reflects the special edition.

I have ideas to prevent behavior that is not truly long-term passion for a special project watch. I remember the Vacheron Hodinkee chronograph made 1 year ago that was ludicrously flipped by 4 buyers after about 3 months; that was out of like 35 total wat... 

I believe the 1st year warranty idea is solid

It would be very very nice to purchase more than one of such limited edition to be passed on or gifted to family or the closest of friends.

I typically think when you have a wait-list and there's a queue of people who say they want something, you have to expect that 10-20% will change their minds for some reason. If we have 60 people on PuristSPro who say that they want to buy this special co...

The first big steps are to get PuristSPro management (Bill, Anthony, MTF, ThomasM) to green light the project. Then perhaps find a PuristSPro moderator with Tudor knowledge (Nicolas or Miranda or Baron or DrStrong) who can manage the project. Then finding... 

And then we could have purist etching at the back .

Crazy price! I think it will be very difficult to convince Tudor to do anything that gets close to that unique piece. I bet Tudor wants to keep that unique piece design separate. Like the lollipop seconds hand that a few members have on the wish list, I t...

I've been watching from the sidelines for a while. Naturally my first post has to be in support of this quixotic idea!

It’s an uphill battle, this pipe dream of ours. But a dream shared by many starts to feel like something possible in real life!

39mm seems like a great size.

which I don't think Tudor will go for: Change the circular hour markers into square hour markers for a full Snowflake dial and hands.

The Black Bay line is honoring the Tudor Submariners from the 1950’s which I think all used the circle markers.
