Hello Quattro! As you well say we need to see a watch in the metal.
Viewing it in person and specially trying it on our wrists allows to better judge it.
My personal opinion: I like it overall. Of course I would like a plainer dial without the honeycomb pattern and post indexes or may be with Roman numbers.
I like the case which is slimmer than the Oyster Quartz and 1530/1630 series.
I find very interesting the new movement and the feature of a transparent caseback to enjoy viewing it.
Last but not least I don’t like its price for the steel case variant which I feel it’s too much if compared with a regular Date Just model.
Last but not least: will Rolex maintain its policy of displaying the Land Dwellers in their boutique windows with the hated little sign saying “not for sale”?
