I could have had it when it was still a window display, but same with you, it never clicked.
Same with the steel model.
Never wormed up to them and sold my steel reference.
Now this upgraded generation is a totally different beast, hope to make the platinum model my exit watch if ever offered!
I also share your view in parting with what doesn’t spark emotions, in my case is the strap/dress watches.
While I like them,they’re to impractical to my life style

If you never warmed up to it - then right decision

Took some interest out of this hobby for me... I went to the Patek salon in Paris, was allowed in but no sales staff would attend to me as I did not make a reservation. However Maxence showed great hospitality across the street at the ALS boutique.
