In Philadelphia and this was sitting in the showcase. I bought it and walked out with it. While I really liked it very much, I was never 100% thrilled with the ice blue dial color or the chestnut brown bezel. I tried to love it, but it just never fully ha...  

I agree. Just wish I loved it more, but sometimes it just doesn’t happen.

Otherwise it is possibly going. That said I don’t really move too many things 🤷‍♂️

I really try to wear all my watches as well, but I do have a few safe queens.

to let it go, especially when prices went up to let you get and focus on the pieces you really want and enjoy. A true sign you went with what you love and not hype.

Took some interest out of this hobby for me... I went to the Patek salon in Paris, was allowed in but no sales staff would attend to me as I did not make a reservation. However Maxence showed great hospitality across the street at the ALS boutique.

I am not into Rolex, but much prefer your 116509. The Platona might be a bit too heavy?

I could have had it when it was still a window display, but same with you, it never clicked. Same with the steel model. Never wormed up to them and sold my steel reference. Now this upgraded generation is a totally different beast, hope to make the platin...

That’s where I got it. When I finally get a place in the area, I reach out for a get together for us. It may be about a year though.

Of if you ain’t wearing it trade or sell it and wear something you love…I don’t think I’ll be parting with this one though…took me a long time to be a Daytona wearer and after a false start or two I’m all in! ...  

The Daytona is my favorite sports model. There are not many variations I don’t like except for the ones encrusted in stones 👍
