I am also embarrassed to ask for the newer 126500 steel version to be honest. Therefore, I don’t think I will be getting the new one but I am keeping both 116500 for sure, for now.
If I do get the call, I will add it asap 😅

did you consider asking your AD if you could trade in your white- or black-dial 116500 for the newer 126500? Or would you prefer to keep both current versions and add the new one(s) as well?

They all look the same, lol....except for some color variations and maybe movements.
In this case of the steel, it is a different movement but same can be argued that I have 4131s in YG and Pt...or dial looks similar to Zenith 165xx and yet collectors still want those. I am not that noble to say no to $$ knowing how popular they are and m...

I am very wary on threading the vintage Rolex world. Someday when I come across a genuine collector, never say never...but I will need to study more in this before I walk into that door. My thoughts to stick with moderns are they will become future vintag...
