won’t service it. Luckily, any competent watchmaker can service this movement with their eyes closed 😂

I’m more concerned about external parts. Watchmakers can get movement parts. But Rolex May one day restrict selling rubber gaskets. They already restrict case and bracelet parts.
I’ve seen some vintage models
in the past with engraved lugs, etc. I don’t know if anyone still does it today though. Thank you !

The Explorer is a perfect candidate for “Tricking Out”! I am a big fan of the Explorer and am wearing one right now. The “Minimalist” vibe of the watch speaks to me. You have taken it another direction and I think it is great!

Bearing in mind what this all cost you, the work-around with Rolex if they are going to be difficult is to have a second but plain Explorer and have that one serviced as necessary. Then cannibalise the plain one for the seals and other parts etc. Finding ...

Yes! It has to do with my last name.
So glad you asked 😁. While my last name is not star in English, it is in my born heritage/nationality of my grandfather who legally immigrated to America in the 1920’s.
