After a service center did the same to a separate piece, I become averse to bracelet/strap changing altogether.
Since you change straps and bracelets quite often, KMII, I'm curious -- have you acquired a practiced dexterity that enables you to deftly avoid scratches,
or have you a high tolerance for inner-lug scratches in the first place (they aren't visible for the most part, after all) ?
There's a watch whose strap I want to change and am debating whether my all-thumbs should be allocated another risky task...
