thick is less than I expected. Good proportion.

Not nearly as thick as one would expect. That’s what makes them reasonably wearable 😊

With an hour hand that moves independently in either direction, accurate and dependable Spring Drive movement, excellent lume and legibility, and a robust case, they make excellent travel watches. No worries about anyone chopping my wrist off for one eith...  

The only small pet peeve being the lack of a classical quick set date (explaining why I didn’t bother today). It’s fast enough with the jumping hour hand but on holidays I don’t always have the patience 😊 And you of course also have the superb 007 🦾🗻👌🏻 ... 

It's not so bad for a single dateline jump during travel, but, if the date display is days or weeks off from the present date, setting can be quite tedious, with a LOT of revolutions of the jumping hour hand required! Same with the GS Spring Drive GMTs......

Date setting is okay when it involves a single crossing of the dateline during travel, but it can be quite tedious when the displayed date differs by days (or weeks!) from the actual date. The same with the GS Spring Drive GMTs, too... so many turns of th... 

After having a service center do the same on another piece, I quickly became averse to strap/bracelet changing. So I'm wondering KMII -- since you swap straps often -- have you gained sufficient practiced dexterity to avoid scratching altogether or have y... 

I use quick change springbars, which minimize the risk of scratches. There are also tools that make scratches less likely. Some of the members here use relatively extensive measures to protect the watches from being scratched while changing straps. Usuall...

And AD staff are not particularly skilled in this respect and can well scratch a piece. Some are better than others, though and a proper watch maker will make it look like a breeze (seen one of the independents do it on a bad day with a hangover and still...

In both watches this happened well past the expected service interval so it's not something that should be a deal breaker for purchasing but put an end to me setting the date if the correct date is well into the future.
