Jeannine's Bakery and Restaurant
Since we arrived early to Santa Barbara, we had breakfast at Jeanninie's Bakery and Restaurant. The place is located just south of the amazing State & Fig on Figueroa Street.
The coffee was good but the best things on the menu are the buttermilk pancakes! Light and fluffy with a warm vermont maple syrup:
Fresh eggs and sausage were good but nothing special.
Crisp bacon and eggs sunny side up the same as the scramble eggs and sausage:
In addition to the pancakes, the other item you must get is the Challah French Toast. Mmmmm...Fantastic!
They serve breakfast and lunch so someone in our party had the salmon salad. Nice light healthy dish:
