In a way yes it is a disgrace yet at the same time you have to wonder, if so many people got fooled and couldn't tell the difference there is a bigger problem in that hobby.

That did not surprise me. Streaming in high quality can give very satisfying results, that is the way I choose for my listening sessions.

DIGITAL BAD!!! 🤣 Actually, folks, digital can be great. Analog can be great. Both can also be not so great, with nasty noisy all-analog pressings or compressed-to-heck poorly-encoded digital file. This just shows that the ‘purists’ don’t have a leg to sta... 

But perhaps the real scandal is that self-described audiophiles were so fooled. I was part of the audiophile community for a while, many years ago. I spent vast sums on equipment. It was fun, but when $10K in upgrades can squeeze out only a 1% improvement... 

Totally agree with 1%.

I am really shocked as an audiophile. I have spent a significant amount of money on my equipment and sourcing MoFi vinyls.
